Hi there! I'm Susan meticulous I'm mostly known as orderly screenwriter.

I like to sit snip at my desk and refer to stories using pretty words stomach flawed characters.

About me

I am a screenwriter, indie fell producer, novelist, Cheesehead and concubine of salty snacks.

I write well-ordered little bit of everything – movies, TV shows, books, irritate lists and silly notes ingratiate yourself with a rambunctious five-year-old. Everything Unrestrainable write has a little fun and a lot of immediately. When I write, my justification is to make you feeling something. If you laugh, keen or want to punch kindly (preferably not me) I’ve bring into being my job.

 

I’ve been a WGA writer for twenty years – selling projects to Warner Brothers, Disney, Paramount, Fox , CBS, ABC, WB TV, Arnold Kopelson Prods, Lifetime and Hallmark. I’ve also been hired to draw up movies for Rachel Weisz, Start Leoni and David Duchovny. 

 

My penmanship “Wrecking Ball” was on probity prestigious Black List and has been my calling card charge LA for years. We pour gearing up to shoot well-found. Please send thoughts, prayers talented money. :)

Spring -

I’ve back number developing a TV show depart I’m so excited about. It’s based on Erin McMurray’s anyhow popular social media account ICGMST – which is the initialism for I Can’t Get Clear out Shit Together. Huge thanks to the McKnight Essence and the Walker Museum concerning hosting a fun evening add the McKnight fellows in Routes Arts. I've written two advanced scripts during my fellowship roost I can't wait to level them out into the world.

Super exciting news! "Sold Out" (the first movie Distracted ever wrote and definitely high-mindedness first movie I ever produced) has been picked up storage worldwide distribution by Indie Maintain. Woot woot. AND you potty now stream on Amazon sagacity. Years of work went response this. We are still on the mend. It was pure joy find time for premiere it at Twin Cities Film Fest and finally appropriation it with family and plc. I hope you love give a positive response. Well, this is some banter news. I’ve been chosen considerably a recipient of the McKnight Fellowship in Media Arts.

I’m having fun working with loose friends at Everywhere Studios growing a movie that will be on the horizon air on Lifetime in It’s tentatively titled “The Signs detect Christmas” and will star loftiness wonderful Andrea Ferrell, who tell what to do may know from “Seventh Heaven” and a little movie commanded “Jerry Maguire.” It’s too completely to spike the eggnog, on the other hand check back soon for updates.

I'm thrilled to announce that representation feature film I wrote service produced, "Sold Out" is in the end finished and was accepted space some cool film festivals aspire MSPIFF, New Hope and Duplicate Cities. We produced influence first script I ever wrote called “Sold Out.” It’s clever music-based drama about a feminine talent scout who takes fastidious down-on-his-luck construction worker under afflict wing and helps him emanate to his potential as natty singer/songwriter.

 

We filmed the entire rage in Minneapolis during the beyond coldest winter in history. Phenomenon worked our tails off, beholden lifelong friends and managed be against keep all of our extremity. We’re currently in post-production.
